P3 introduced water-recycling loops across 11 logistics assets in France in 2025 to eliminate avoidable potable water waste during mandatory fire-safety pump tests. Standard weekly 20-minute tests require motor pumps to use mains water for cooling, which is typically discharged to sewer despite remaining clean. Each pump can waste 5–10 m³ per week, plus around 15 m³ during semi-annual extended tests.
P3’s solution captures this cooling water in a sealed collection tank and pumps it back into the sprinkler reserve tank, creating a closedloop system that does not affect fire-water quality. The approach is robust, low-maintenance and easily replicable across assets.
The result is a minimum saving of ~275 m³ of drinking water per asset per year, adding up to approximately 3,000 m³ annually across the portfolio—equivalent to the yearly water use of 20–25 households.
