Special tenants to move into the park, soon
Bratislava | 10 August 2022 - Modern logistics real estate is busting a myth. Today, single-purpose industrial or warehouse spaces are a thing of the past. Now, they offer active relaxation and entertainment for tenants. The city logistics park, P3 Bratislava Airport, has opened a relaxation zone within its premises in which visitors can enjoy lunch in the fresh air, or relax by engaging in sports activities. The zone also includes a children's playground. Moreover, this P3 park will soon welcome new tenants – a colony of bees which will promote and help protect biodiversity. The future development of the park and its surroundings will include a cycling route connecting Bratislava with the municipality of Ivanka pri Dunaji.
P3’s Bratislava Airport park is the latest-ever project by P3 Logistic Parks development company, and it brings multiple sustainable innovations to the logistics industry. One of the latest innovations includes the opening of a rest & relaxation zone for tenants and visitors. It provides the opportunity for exercise during the day, playing mini-football or enjoying refreshment in the fresh air. The workout zone features a bench with storage counters for food and drinks, as well as a separate solar bench allowing visitors to charge their smartphones or laptops. For the youngest visitors to the park, the developer has also built a special zone containing a playground, where children can have fun on climbing frames, spring swings or even on a small merry-go-round.
Also coming to P3 Bratislava Airport is a location for housing special new tenants. Soon, this park will welcome multiple beehives with complete bee colonies that will further contribute to preserving the local ecosystem. Bees are regarded as one of the most important pollinators and have an irreplaceable role in protecting biodiversity, healthy environments and human health.
Peter Jánoši, Executive Director, P3 Slovakia, says: “This is our first city-business park that fully utilises all the advantages of being close to the city. However, we wish to be of benefit both to the city and the local community. We create jobs and business opportunities and contribute to improving the living standard and the overall quality of life in the city. Our parks form part of a broader ecosystem, which is why we strive to integrate them into the surrounding environment. This relates to the volume and type of planted greenery with which we preserve the local habitat and support the ecosystem. The green areas are also an excellent place for active rest, which is going to be greatly supported by this very relaxation and rest zone.”
P3 has built modern real estate of the highest quality level in the Bratislava city park, certified to the BREEAM ‘Very Good’ standard. This standard is awarded only to buildings that meet strict environmental criteria, use energy resources efficiently are environmentally friendly and, at the same time, monitor how people feel on the premises.
