Ostrava Comes Alive with Movement: The Largest Jungle Sport Park in the Czech Republic to Open at P3 Ostrava Central

(Ostrava, 20 May 2026) – The P3 Ostrava Central industrial and commercial district in the heart of Vítkovice is expanding with another major tenant that will open the site to the public and bring new energy and movement into the area. Following manufacturing and logistics companies, a sports centre will now also move into the modern premises. Jungle plans to build its largest Jungle sport park in the Czech Republic to date here. Covering 4,411 m², the complex will gradually offer a comprehensive space for both children and adults, featuring climbing walls, parkour and gymnastics zones, physiotherapy, recovery facilities, and even a bistro.

P3 Ostrava Central, developed through the revitalisation of a brownfield site in the heart of Ostrava, is once again proving its multifunctional character. Alongside tenants from various sectors ranging from manufacturing and logistics to retail, the site will now welcome a sports concept that will open the area to sports enthusiasts as well. Jungle sport park will occupy the M1 building, directly neighbouring BrainMarket.

“Our vision for P3 Ostrava Central has always been to create a vibrant urban district where business meets everyday life. The arrival of Jungle is exactly the missing piece that fulfils this vision. Thanks to its 12-metre clear height and flexible layout, the modern industrial hall will provide ideal conditions for sports activities on a scale and quality that the region has so far lacked,” says Marek Jaskula, Senior Leasing Manager at P3 Logistic Parks.

The new Jungle sport park in Ostrava will be much more than just a modern climbing centre. A comprehensive complex divided into several zones is being developed here. The largest area will be dedicated to rope climbing sections and a special children’s climbing zone designed for family celebrations and other events. There will also be a movement hall for parkour and gymnastics. Visitors preferring bouldering will find a separate bouldering area on the first floor spanning a generous 1,800 m². A top-tier workout zone equipped with campus boards, a Kilter Board, and a MoonBoard — technologies highly sought after by climbers for effective strength training — will also be available. Last but not least, the complex will include a climbing equipment store and a bistro with both indoor and outdoor seating offering views directly into the sports hall.

“Our goal is to create a place in Ostrava where families with children can spend the whole day. Thanks to the wide range of activities available in the centre, everyone will find something they enjoy. Children can have fun in the kids’ corner or on the smaller climbing walls, while older children will appreciate the parkour and gymnastics zone. Adults can enjoy the bouldering section or the largest climbing wall in Ostrava. Together, families can then relax and enjoy a meal in the large bistro and unwind in the relaxation zone,” says Milan Genda, Manager of Jungle sport park Ostrava.

Visitors will also be able to make use of the outdoor areas of the site, which P3 is cultivating with a strong focus on greenery and sustainability. The building meets strict environmental standards and has achieved BREEAM Excellent certification.

With the opening of the Ostrava centre, Jungle will continue fulfilling its long-term vision of creating places across the Czech Republic that combine sport, movement, and community life. Following locations in Prague’s Letňany, Holešovice, and Výstaviště districts, as well as in Pardubice and Mladá Boleslav, Ostrava will become the sixth — and at the same time the largest — Jungle sport park in the Czech Republic.

“We want to build places where people come not only to do sports, but where they also want to spend time, meet others, and naturally stay active across generations,” adds Karel Trsek, Marketing Director at Jungle.

The opening of the first part of the complex is planned for autumn 2026, with additional sections to follow gradually. The project also includes a dedicated car park with a capacity of approximately 100 spaces and, in the future, a new bus connection that will improve accessibility to the entire area.
