Frankfurt am Main | 30 November 2023 - P3 has concluded the extension of a lease agreement with DHL for a logistics property with a total area of around 32,250 m² in Dreieich, Offenbach district near Frankfurt.
The first pillar of P3 Park Dreieich was planted in July 2018 and it went into operation in 2019. The new building replaced an outdated complex acquired by P3 in 2009, which had previously served DHL as a logistics centre. Today, the property comprises three hall units, covering an area of around 28,500 m², as well as around 2,150 m² of office space and 1,600 m² of mezzanine space. The property also features 18 loading ramps, a special floor slab for the storage of water-polluting substances and a total of around 150 parking spaces for cars and lorries. The building recently received a BREEAM "Very Good" certification for sustainability.
Sönke Kewitz, Managing Director of P3 in Germany, says: "We are delighted DHL has decided to continue to trust us to accompany them on their journey. Long-term relationships with our customers are crucial for us because they confirm the trust our partners place in us. The continuation of our relationship with DHL in Dreieich is the latest confirmation of the quality of our services, and shows P3 is able to fulfil the needs of our customers."
Claus-Dieter Trapp, Head of Technical Asset Management at P3 in Germany, adds: "The successful extension of this lease underlines the robust partnership between P3 and DHL. In addition to very good infrastructure, the property is characterised above all by its comprehensive sustainability. This property remains an important hub in DHL's logistics strategy and we are proud to contribute to it with our modern hall which ensures our customer's operational requirements continue to be met."
The property is located around 20 km south of Frankfurt am Main and around 25 km from Frankfurt Airport, making it centrally located in the Rhine-Main region. The A661 motorway runs in the immediate vicinity, while the L3262 country road with a connection to the A5 also ensures optimal transport links.
