SUPPLIER TO THE WORLD’S BIGGEST CAR MANUFACTURERS CHOOSES THE CZECH REPUBLIC FOR ITS ENTRY INTO THE EUROPEAN MARKET
(Prague, 20 November 2025) – SFI Europe s.r.o. (the European branch of SeAH FSI Co., Ltd.) is entering the European market. The Korean company specialising in the production of automotive fluid systems has chosen the P3 Ostrava Central industrial-commercial district for its first base in Europe. The premises will be used starting in November.
In November, the company moved into the M2 hall, where it is leasing 2,673 m² of space. Approximately two-thirds of the building will be used for light manufacturing, and the remaining third for storage, while 465 m² of office space will serve for administrative activities. “We are delighted that SFI Europe has chosen P3 Logistic Parks—and especially our Ostrava park—for this strategic step. We believe that the combination of an excellent location, multifunctional halls and office space, and access to a qualified workforce will enable the company to enter the European market efficiently and quickly,” says Marek Jaskula, Leasing Manager at P3.
“We chose the Czech Republic as our entry point to the European market due to its strategic location in the heart of Europe. This will allow us to be very close to our target customers. P3 Ostrava Central offers excellent access to skilled labour, a tradition of industrial production, and above all, space that precisely meets the demands of both our company and our clients,” explains Sam Kim, Managing Director of SFI Europe s.r.o.
In Ostrava, the company will produce brake and fuel lines made from thin-walled small-diameter steel tubes for the automotive industry. Trial production will begin in the second half of next year, with serial production starting in 2027. A dedicated testing laboratory located directly inside the hall will be used for product testing and quality control. Initially, the company will employ around 35 people, but as production ramps up, the workforce will gradually grow. The company estimates it will employ up to 60 people. In addition to the location, which provides access to qualified labour, the park had to meet numerous other requirements. The environmental features of the building were also a very important factor for SFI Europe when selecting the premises.
“Among the company’s customers will be leading European car manufacturers, who impose very strict ESG requirements on their suppliers. The building SFI Europe will use at P3 Ostrava Central is BREEAM Excellent certified and equipped with rooftop solar panels. The company will also purchase electricity from renewable sources. Thanks to these factors, it will meet even the most stringent ecological and sustainability demands of its clients. This is a trend we are seeing among many automotive companies, and it is essential for us to be able to meet this requirement for our suppliers,” says Marek Jaskula.
The entire P3 Ostrava Central industrial-commercial complex, built on a former brownfield, emphasises sustainability and ecology, as evidenced by BREEAM Excellent certification for all buildings. The project includes extensive green areas and is freely accessible to the public, offering benches, bicycle stands, and an outdoor gym. The park is already home to companies from various sectors, such as Linde Material Handling, Tefcold, Canpol babies, PNS, Zítek Logistics, bezvapostele.cz, and since this year also Brainmarket, which will launch production in P3 Ostrava Central in addition to logistics in the coming years. SFI Europe will also combine space for light manufacturing, storage, and administration.
