(Prague, October 14, 2025) – The newly established CTi Europe production center marks the entry of Ching Tai Electric Wire & Cable onto the European market. The industrial developer customized the premises to allow highly automated production of key components designed for industries such as artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, aviation, industrial automation, and medicine. The facility is expected to create 50 jobs.
The Taiwanese manufacturer found suitable premises to begin its European operations in the industrial park P3 Prague D8, in the renovated Hall 5. Out of the total 1,914 m², 1,749 m² will be used for production and storage, and 165 m² will serve as administrative space, tailored by P3 to meet the company’s needs. The site will also become the official headquarters of CTi Europe s.r.o. “CTi Cable’s decision to choose P3 for its entry into the European market is a great honor for us and a strong indication of the quality of our services. The collaboration is also a first for P3, as CTi is the historically first Taiwanese tenant in Czech P3 parks. Welcoming CTi Europe to the P3 Logistic Parks portfolio is a significant milestone for us, and we hope it will open doors to future interest from other Taiwanese companies,” says Marek Jaskula, Leasing Manager at P3.
The new plant represents an investment of CZK 120 million, bringing not only new job opportunities but also strengthening the Czech Republic’s position in advanced technology. “The reasons behind choosing the Czech Republic and making this investment are multifaceted. The country’s location in the heart of Europe provides a strategic advantage for product distribution across the continent. Moreover, the Czech Republic has a long tradition and recognized expertise in manufacturing and innovation, particularly in technology-intensive industries. This combination allows us to leverage local know-how and production infrastructure to deliver high-quality products and services to customers throughout Europe,” explains Sunny Lin, Vice President of CTi Europe.
“The investment by CTi in the Czech Republic reflects the growing momentum of Taiwanese high-tech manufacturers expanding their presence in Central Europe,” said Remus Li-Kuo Chen, Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Prague. “Taiwan and the Czech Republic share a strong industrial tradition and a progressive vision for innovation and sustainability. Projects such as CTi Europe bring not only cutting-edge technologies and new job opportunities but also deepen our bilateral partnership and contribute to a more resilient supply chain between Taiwan and Europe.”
The tenant will combine business development, light manufacturing, logistics, and administration at the site, which required a change in the use of the premises from storage to production. “Preparing the space for CTi Europe was an interesting experience for P3, as European and Taiwanese construction practices differ in some aspects. In addition to building a new mezzanine structure with offices and facilities inside the existing hall, attention had to be paid to the implementation of technologies imported from Asia — for example, compressed air distribution systems there use different connectors than in Europe,” says Ondřej Hráský, Head of Construction for P3 in the Czech Republic.
P3 Prague D8 Park benefits from its strategic location on the northern outskirts of Prague, at Exit 1 of the D8 motorway, where it is highly visible. The park is served by public transport buses connecting it to Metro Line C – Kobylisy station. Within four years, a new tram line is planned to connect Kobylisy to Zdiby, further enhancing the park’s accessibility. Currently, the park comprises seven buildings housing tenants such as VF, Pricol Wiping Systems Czech, DHL Express, Blažek, Puma, and Alza. As the case of CTi Europe demonstrates, the flexibility of P3 parks allows for storage, production, and administrative functions all within one location, helping companies manage their operations more efficiently.
