Alnatura rents around 14,000 m2 of warehouse space at the P3 Logistic Park in Pfungstadt. In mid-June, the organic grocer and the long-term owner and developer of logistics properties P3 concluded the joint lease agreement. The property is located in the direct vicinity of the Alnatura Campus in Darmstadt, the company's headquarters. It was brokered by Baumüller & Co. AG. Realogis Frankfurt advised as lead broker.
Alnatura's product range includes more than 6,000 articles, which must be delivered daily to numerous points of sale. Many of its own organic supermarkets are located in the Rhine-Main area. In order for Alnatura to be able to supply its customers in this region reliably, quickly and above all sustainably with food, short transport routes to the points of sale are important. For this reason, Alnatura has expanded its storage capacities and chose the P3 Park Pfungstadt for this purpose. The warehouse is strategically located in the middle of the metropolitan region, 40 km from Frankfurt and 50 km from Mannheim.

The P3 Park in Pfungstadt is the ideal location in the region for this".
P3 had started the development of the park in Pfungstadt in October 2019 and completed the work in June this year. The property is divided into two hall sections, which ensure space-efficient logistics processes thanks to a clearance height of 11.9 metres and supports in a grid of 24 x 12 metres. The park has two jumbo pre-loading bridges, twelve gateways and an office area of approximately 500 m2 . The lighting of the outdoor facilities, office and logistics areas can be energy-efficiently adjusted to individual requirements. A comprehensive sprinkler system in accordance with FM Global fire protection guidelines ensures maximum safety.

The P3 Park also densifies Alnatura's logistics network in a metropolis of millions. Deliveries will thus become even more efficient, i.e. more environmentally friendly. In addition, the park is a brownfield project; we have not sealed any green areas for construction. Thanks to the uncomplicated and pleasant cooperation with the district of Darmstadt-Dieburg, we were able to hand over the keys in record time".
The new P3 Pfungstadt Logistics Park is the fifth location of P3 in the Rhine-Main region, alongside Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, Weiterstadt, Mörfelden and Dreieich. It expands the range of services in the region to a total of more than 110,000 m².
