Frankfurt am Main | 1st November 2021. P3 Logistic Parks, the long-term investor-developer of European logistics properties, acquires a high-end light industrial property in Cologne as part of a share deal.

With 15,711 m2 of leasable space, the acquisition represents an important addition to P3's German portfolio. The property is located in Niehl, an industrial center of Cologne and one of the city's most popular commercial and industrial areas. It is fully leased to Romaco Kilian GmbH, a global leader in tableting equipment for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food and chemical industries. The acquisition from the seller LCN Capital Partners was closed on October 29 after the signing of the purchase agreement.

Sönke Kewitz, Managing Director P3 Logistic Parks Germany: "The successful acquisition of this long-term leased logistics property is a fitting addition to our German portfolio. In addition to its central location, the light industrial property is characterized by flexible usability, suitable for special industrial applications, as in Romaco's case. We look forward to welcoming Romaco as our new tenant and growing together with them as a business partner."

With the purchase of this property, P3 is moving its assets even closer to downtown and convenient locations. Through this approach, P3 wants to offer companies the opportunity to maintain a wide variety of warehousing, packaging or smaller production facilities in urban centers.
