P3 Logistic Parks and La Poste Immobilier Develop 19,000 sqm Logistics Platform for La Poste Group
Paris, 12 June 2023: P3 Logistic Parks, a long-term investor and developer of high-quality logistics buildings in Europe, is partnering with La Poste Immobilier, the real estate subsidiary of La Poste Group, to develop a 19,000 sqm platform on a 12-hectare plot in Grand-Couronne, a suburb of Rouen, in France.
The platform will be operated by Colissimo for parcel processing and delivery, to support the growth of e-commerce. Development began in November 2022 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
"The P3 Rouen site, owned by Haropa, was the subject of numerous discussions during the building design phase to ensure that it truly meets the needs of the teams," said Nicolas Camus, Director of Projects at P3 Logistic Parks France.
Sustainable future for former industrial brownfield site
The new asset is situated on a former industrial brownfield which P3 has repurposed, with construction entrusted to GSE as the general contractor. Accenta, an expert in energy efficiency, has been engaged to reduce the carbon emissions of the new logistics center. Accenta plans to install geothermal heat pumps to cover 77% of the building's heating needs, with the remainder provided by an air-source heat pump. The platform will also be equipped with on-site self-consumption solar panels and aims for BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification for sustainability.

P3 relied on the expertise of several partners for this project, including Arcadis (environmental engineering), A26 (architect), Top Management (project management), Eversheds Sutherland (legal counsel), and Frêche & Associés (environmental legal counsel).
