P3 Logistic Parks, long-term owner and developer of European logistics real estate with German headquarters in Frankfurt, is making a donation to the annual association sponsoring program of the municipality of Pommersfelden, near Nuremberg. With this program, local clubs and associations are supported, which engage themselves for the public welfare.
With the goal of honoring and promoting social commitment, P3 donates 5,000 € to the community to support local clubs and associations in Pommersfelden and the districts of Steppach, Sambach, Oberndorf, Limbach, Weiher, Schweinbach and Unterköst. Subventions receive in the context of the annual promotion initiative among other things the voluntary fire-brigade, different sport and music associations, a crèche as well as fruit and horticulture associations.
Sönke Kewitz, Managing Director of P3 Logistic Parks Germany: “In today's world, companies must take responsibility and show commitment. We always pursue the goal of becoming an integral part of the local community when we settle here. Therefore, we support associations and initiatives at our locations with donations or sponsoring activities. We are pleased to be able to help a few organizations with our donation in these difficult times, which make an important contribution to the common good.”
Gerd Dallner, mayor of the municipality of Pommersfelden: “I would like to thank P3 for their willingness to support our local clubs and associations financially. This donation is more important than ever this year because the organizations could hardly or not at all generate income due to the Corona pandemic and the cancellation of all events. With the donation from P3 we can double the last usual association grant of 5.000 €.”
Currently, P3 is building a distribution center for Amazon in the Limbach industrial park, which is scheduled to start operations in September 2021. The construction plans include a hall with an administrative wing on an area of 5,700 square meters. The construction project will be climate-neutral and sustainable according to the latest standards. A plant concept, which includes the planting of 80 local trees and the greening of the facades, will create habitats for insects and provide visual and acoustic protection, especially in the north (Limbach).
