The long-term owner and developer of logistics properties P3 Logistic Parks has signed a long-term lease with a logistics company for its park in Moerfelden near Frankfurt. The park, in which ALDI already occupies a hall, is now fully let. During the leasing process, the brokerage firm Immolox acted as lead agent for the owner and the brokerage firm CBRE acted as intermediary for the tenant.
The rented space, which consists of an old building from 1971 and a new building from 2007, comprises two halls with around 27,000 m² of storage space plus around 1,800 m² of office space and around 3,700 m² of mezzanine space. The property is ideally located about 20 kilometers south of Frankfurt am Main and ten kilometers from Frankfurt Airport and is directly at the junction with the A5 freeway.
Sönke Kewitz, Managing Director of P3 Germany: “By renting out the space in Moerfelden, we were able to let out all of P3's German properties apart from a partial area in Obertraubling. This once again demonstrates the unbroken interest in logistics real estate, for example because of the booming online trade. Our goal is to give logistics companies an advantage in the market through ideal logistics properties and our know-how.”
P3 has actively shaped the transformation of logistics for many years. The company is constantly developing its portfolio, especially with a focus on online retailers that must meet increasing demands in the areas of delivery speed, reliability, and quality. A central role is played by the successful strategy of building logistics parks on a speculative basis, permanently expanding the company's own network, for example by purchasing the Matrix portfolio, and implementing trends such as Urban and Green Logistics.
