Bartłomiej Hofman, Managing Director for P3 in Poland, said: “P3 Poznan park is extremely popular with customers. It's the perfect location for companies wanting to distribute products to markets in Western Europe, particularly Germany, as well as for light manufacturing businesses. We will soon be able to offer BTS opportunities in new phase of the park.”

Clipper provides logistics services throughout Europe. The new building is just the latest in a series of lease agreements that P3 has signed with the operator at P3 Poznan park. At the beginning of last year (2017), the company leased 10,000 m2. Shortly after, as a result of the strong business growth achieved in this prime logistics location, the company extended the space occupied by a further 7,000 m2. After the hand over of the new facility, Clipper will occupy over 43,000 m2 of warehouses at P3 Poznan. Talks on additional space are already underway, which would make Clipper the largest occupier at the park.

Stefan van Hoof, Senior Managing Director at Clipper, commented: “We have been very happy with our partnership with P3 to date, so we decided to lease more space at P3 Poznan park. P3 proved to have an extremely flexible approach and were very open, which led to them designing a Build-to-Suit warehouse that fits our needs perfectly.”

Clipper’s latest warehouse has been specifically designed to suit the company’s operations. It will have a 12 m clear internal height plus an ecologically sound design with energy saving solutions such as LED lighting and innovative thermo-insulated wall panels. The building will also have the highest fire endurance standard of over 4000 MJ.

Piotr Bzowski, Leasing & Development Director for P3 in Poland, pointed out: “The changes we are seeing in the warehouse space market mean developers have to rethink their approach and tailor a bespoke solution for each and every customer. Here at P3, we always listen to the needs and expectations of our clients so that we can put forward the best solutions. This was the case with Clipper. We have worked with them previously, but this project was particularly demanding. Nevertheless, we managed to reach an agreement and we are on target to complete the project on time.”
