P3 is fast developing a strong partnership with Ingram Micro, the world leader in the distribution of IT products, having undertaken a 20,000 m² development for the company in Slovakia earlier this year (2017). “P3 shares our values! Our new 42,000 m² building incorporates the latest technological and environmental innovations. As a result we will be able to improve the quality of service we offer to our IT customers across all markets," commented Sophie Deleval, President and CEO of Ingram Micro.

Early in 2016, some 15 developers responded to Ingram Micro’s original invitation to tender for its new logistics hub. P3’s redevelopment proposal stood out from the competition both financially and in qualitative terms, convincing Ingram Micro to award it the contract.

The project comprised a new extension of 12,000 m² Build-to-Suit space plus the complete refurbishment of Ingram Micro’s existing 30,000 m² warehouse.

"During the construction of the new space – from December 2016 to July 2017 – Ingram Micro continued to operate from its existing warehouse, indeed we even expanded operations in Lomme," Deleval continued.

"This project represented a real challenge for P3 in terms of organisation and deadlines," acknowledged Andrew Stacey, Managing Director of P3 in France. "We worked hard to find the best solution for Ingram Micro to continue operations on the site whilst meeting all its space, security and quality needs. This project demonstrates our relentless desire to invest in improving our assets and to continue to develop our French portfolio in prime locations."

"With the support of the Municipality of Lomme and the European Metropolis of Lille, as well as the assistance of our contractor Lyris, we have been able to meet the expectations and requirements of Ingram Micro. Listening to our customers’ needs has become one of P3’s major strengths," Stacey concluded.

“P3 is supporting Ingram Micro with its European strategy – in France at P3 Lomme park and in Slovakia at P3 Bratislava D2 park. We bring real turnkey solutions to our existing and new warehouses. 2017 will be a record year for P3. With 185 locations, P3 manages 4 million m² in Europe, and has a land bank for developing more than 1.8 million m² of rental space," commented Ian Worboys, President and CEO of P3.
