This is the most recent in a string of deals with international automotive brands at P3 Bratislava park. "Our success in the demanding automotive sector demonstrates that our buildings meet the highest standards,” said Peter Bahník, P3’s Head of Leasing for Slovakia.

P3 has been working with Emil Frey over several months on project preparation to ensure that the warehouse meets the customer’s needs. This collaborative approach confirms that P3 offers more than just world class development solutions. “We aim create a stable environment for our clients, as well as a long-term partnership so that they can build their brands in Slovakia,” said Bahník.

The deal was negotiated by property consultants Modesta Real Estate. “The lease was signed in April this year,” said Peter Miscik, a partner of the company, adding that Emil Frey needed to find an existing warehouse. “We had a tight deadline as many of the supply contracts were already in place. Location and rents were also important,” he explained. The space at P3 Bratislava park fulfilled all the criteria. The technical specifications have been adapted to allow for the installation of three different automated warehouse systems.

P3 already has a relationship with the Peugeot Citroën brands, managing and leasing a bespoke distribution centre to Peugeot Citroën Deutschland GmbH at P3 Niedersachsenpark in Germany. The company belongs to the French PSA group.

Emil Frey appreciated P3’s professional approach during the preparatory stages of the project, from co-ordination of external deliveries to handover of the ready-to-use warehouse. “We are glad that we have been able to successfully conclude the lease. Negotiations with P3 representatives, as well as the consulting services of Modesta Real Estate, were very professional and focussed on delivering the right result,” said Marián Kristek, project manager of the logistic centre at Emil Frey - EF Parts & Logistic Service.

The new warehouse will be officially launched by the company in the autumn (2017).

About P3 Bratislava park P3 Bratislava is strategically located in the so-called “logistics triangle” of Prague – Vienna – Budapest. With easy access to the D2 motorway, it is just 15 km from Bratislava and about 14 km from the Volkswagen plant, which has made it attractive to customers active in the automotive sector. In addition to Emil Frey, other automotive companies at the park include PTG Slovakia, Faurecia, HBPO, Panasonic and Schnellecke Logistics – together they account for almost 50% of its 215,000 m2 total area.

P3 Bratislava comprises seven separate buildings (DC1 – DC7). Emil Frey has taken space in DC7. Earlier this year, P3 delivered a warehouse to PTG which supplies wheels to Volkswagen. In the last 12 months, the company also completed a building for French company Faurecia, a seat manufacturer for Volkswagen Bratislava and the world's largest wholesale distributor of IT and mobile technologies Ingram Micro. P3 has also agreed a new contract with the latter at P3 Lomme park near Lille in France where Ingram Micro’s existing 30 000 m² building will be completely renovated and expanded by more 12,000 m².
