P3 Logistic Parks, announces the strengthening of its Milan team. This is a sign of continuity with the growth of projects in the pipeline in the Italian market, after a year, 2020, which has seen a significant increase in the portfolio under management.
Christian Motola has recently been promoted to the role of Head of Asset Management of P3 Italy.
He joined the company in 2017 as Property Manager Italy and initiated the internalisation of the aforementioned activities in Western European countries.
In 2020, as Asset & Property Manager Italy, he also took over the supervision of Asset Management activities, including the implementation of commercial strategies and enhancement of the existing portfolio.
Despite the great challenges of a difficult year behind him, Mr. Motola has contributed to the closing, in the last 12 months, of more than 106,000 sqm of new leases or renewals with leading national and international brands.
In his new role, reporting directly to the Managing Director Italy, he will be responsible for the Asset Management division, with the aim of continuing the strategic activities aimed at expanding and strengthening the Italian portfolio, focusing also on future acquisitions and divestments.
In addition, P3 welcomes, within the Italian team, Arch. Alessia Cicale, who from the 1st of March, covering the role of Property Manager, is in charge of the Property Management activities of the Italian portfolio.
In her previous work experience Alessia held the role of Building Manager at Prelios, overseeing the technical management of several asset classes, including logistics properties, and worked for several years as a professional, following several renovation projects.
Jean-Luc Saporito, Managing Director of P3 Italy and Chief Development Officer, said: "By strengthening our team, we have set ourselves the goal of further raising the bar in terms of the quality of service we offer to our current and future clients, in line with the Group's growth strategy in the Italian market. In 2020 we achieved important results in Italy, including the completion of a warehouse of around 190,000 sqm for Amazon and the achievement of almost full occupancy of our properties. In addition, we have about 500,000 sqm of new turnkey projects to be completed in the next 2/3 years. This allows us to look positively and dynamically at new opportunities that may arise in the market".
Christian Motola, Head of Asset Management of P3 Italy, stated: "The year 2020, which brought new challenges at a global level, has emphasized the increasingly fundamental role that logistics plays in our current economic system, confirming that it is now essential "infrastructure" of the modern way of life. The centrality of the client is once again our primary objective for 2021, together with the focus on the quality and sustainability of our properties. Moreover, with the significant increase in the use of e-commerce in Italy in recent months, we are looking with increasing interest at the last mile, in strategic locations and near large urban centres throughout the country, certain that the timeliness of the response to the requests of end users plays an increasingly fundamental role in the business of our customers, both current and future".
