She starts her every morning with a press review, which is a good habit formed over many years of cooperation with the media, as it lets her stay up-to-date with the new developments in the industry. She believes that marketers should always keep a watchful eye on the surroundings and stay attuned to whatever is being said. In 2016, she moved from her beloved Krakow to Warsaw, so that she could work for P3. Initially, her job was to coordinate marketing activities in Poland; now she oversees operations in two countries: Poland and Romania. Meet Justyna Lechowicz, Marketing Specialist Poland & Romania.
Justyna, what do you like about the real estate market?
I love the pace of developments in this market! And I’m not just talking the sheer number of new investments but I mean all the new solutions, products, concepts, and business models. What is particularly close to my heart are activities aimed at making real estate greener and more environmentally friendly. I’m so glad that my career path has led me to real estate as I’ve always wanted to work in the B2B market and to be close to business. And now, I can do just that. I find this a really compelling area to explore. And I’ve got that discoverer's gene in me, too. ;)
How did you get to work in this area?
I have been involved in broadly understood communication activities for almost a decade. I took my first job as a public relations specialist when I was still a student of journalism at a university in Krakow. Before I joined P3, I had been working in PR agencies for over 5 years, managing projects for a wide range of sectors. That spanned from the food industry and beauty and pharmaceutical sectors to enterprise incubators. Later, I worked for shopping malls, and from there I moved to the world of warehouses. In the beginning, I was working for P3 as a PR agent.

How has your position evolved over the years?
I have been involved in marketing from the outset of my work at P3. I started off as a coordinator and, after some time, I was given an independent position and took charge of marketing activities: first in Poland, and shortly after that in Romania.
What are the highlights of working in your position?
I really love working in a multinational team. Some members of our marketing department work from Prague and others work in local offices scattered across Europe. The opportunity of daily work with a multinational team is such an interesting experience, and it gives me a wider perspective. I mean not only on marketing but also on how our business operates across Europe. Working in marketing means not resting on your laurels, and not giving in to a routine. And it's imperative to stay creative in whatever you do. On occasion, this can prove challenging, particularly if a product is highly specialised, like ours. And I am well aware that my work affects our company’s image and standing, and how it is perceived by our customers, business partners, and the surroundings.

What do you do to relax after work and how do you recharge your batteries?
Traveling definitely features high on the list of activities which help me relax and return to work with a head full of new ideas, and with double the strength. I love discovering new locations, not only through reading maps and books, but also in reality. I carefully plan every trip and each time I select a new destination from my “To Visit” list, which is actually quite long. Some are still waiting for their turn, e.g. Namibia, countries which used to be ancient Persia, Iceland, the Cook Islands, Australia, and Antarctica. I like places which have not been completely discovered by man. So I’m more likely to be spotted climbing a volcano, hiking in the Colombian jungle or roaming the streets of Shanghai in the pouring rain, than resting on a Spanish beach.
