The highly-regarded independent awards, now in their 18th year, reward the very best - so having two phases of a building recognised in this way is a major achievement. VFC's new space will be operational April 2017. It features a bespoke layout with three mezzanine levels – making it one of the first “vertical” warehouses in the Czech Republic designed to BREEAM “very good” standards.

The awards are held annually in association with the Financial Times and are attended by over 700 of the sector’s key influencers and business leaders from more than 50 countries.

Ian Worboys, the CEO of P3 Logistic Parks, one of the leading pan-European logistics real estate owners, developers and asset managers, has won the prestigious 2016 ‘Industry Professional of the Year’ CEEQA award. The awards are held annually in association with the Financial Times and are attended by over 700 of the sector’s key influencers and business leaders from more than 50 countries.

Now in its 13th year, the CEEQA Awards ceremony is one of the most significant events for recognising business achievement in commercial real estate investment and development in the CEE and SEE region as well as acknowledging the best buildings, companies and industry professionals each year. The CEEQA Awards judging panel consists of senior representatives of market leading companies operating within the CEE and SEE.

Worboys has more than 35 years of experience in the real estate sector and through his leadership P3’s portfolio has experienced significant growth. P3 has increased its customer portfolio from 98 to over 300 companies in nine countries and expanded its internal team from 48 to over 110 employees.

At the beginning of 2016, P3 had almost 220,000 m² of warehouse space under construction in four countries across Europe, almost doubling its 2015 development total of 113,000 m². In 2015, he masterminded the acquisition of a 467,000 m² portfolio in Poland and Romania, which grew P3’s asset base to over 3 million m² for the first time.

Other initiatives that Worboys has been leading on include the development of P3’s ‘next generation of buildings’, which offer a reduced environmental footprint and significantly lower occupation costs. The first prototype is a new 46,230 m² Build-to-Suit warehouse at P3 Mszczonów park.

Generální ředitel P3 Logistic Parks získal ocenění „Osobnost roku“ v rámci CEEQA Awards 2016

Ian Worboys, generální ředitel společnosti P3 Logistic Parks, která patří mezi přední vlastníky, developery a správce průmyslových nemovitostí s celoevropskou působností, získal v rámci udělování cen CEEQA 2016 prestižní ocenění „Osobnost roku“. Ceny jsou každoročně udělovány ve spolupráci s Financial Times a samotného ceremoniálu se účastní přes 700 významných osob a zástupců předních společností z více než 50 zemí.

Letošní 13. ročník ceremoniálu CEEQA byl jednou z nejvýznamnějších událostí, která ocenila obchodní úspěchy v oblasti developmentu a komerčních investic do nemovitostí v regionu střední a jihovýchodní Evropy, stejně jako nejlepší budovy, společnosti a osobnosti. Porota CEEQA se skládá z čelních představitelů společností s významným postavením na trhu působících v rámci střední a jihovýchodní Evropy.

„Velice si vážím tohoto ocenění, které je zároveň oceněním usilovné práce celého týmu P3. A tak i díky důvěře a podpoře ze strany našich akcionářů, společností TPG a Ivanhoe Cambridge, stále úspěšně rosteme. Rok 2015 byl vůbec nejintenzivnějším obdobím společnosti od jejího založení v roce 2001 a v dynamickém rozvoji pokračujeme i letos. Pod vedením Iana Worboyse, který se může opřít o více než 35 let zkušeností v oblasti nemovitostí, zaznamenalo portfolio společnosti P3 významný růst. P3 rozšířila své zákaznické portfolio z 98 na více než 300 firem v devíti zemích a její interní tým se z původních 48 členů rozrostl na více než 110 zaměstnanců.

Na začátku roku 2016 pokračuje společnost P3 v loni započaté výstavbě téměř 220 000 m² skladových ploch, a to ve čtyřech zemích Evropy. Díky tomu P3 v roce 2016 dokončí výstavbu budov, jejichž celková plocha bude představovat minimálně dvojnásobek dokončeného objemu výstavby z roku 2015, který činil 113 000 m². V minulém roce Ian Worboys také řídil akvizici portfolia o výměře 467 000 m² v Polsku a Rumunsku, díky čemuž celková rozloha ploch P3 vůbec poprvé přesáhla hranici 3 000 000 m².

Mezi další iniciativy, které Ian Worboys vedl, patří development „budov příští generace“ společnosti P3, které jsou šetrnější k životnímu prostředí a nabízejí výrazně nižší provozní náklady. Prvním takovým prototypem je nový sklad na míru (BTS) o výměře 46 230 m² v parku P3 Mszczonów.

P3 takes home two top awards at the 2015 CIJ awards Poland

P3, the pan-European owner, developer and manager of logistics property, successfully secured two top awards at the 2015 CIJ Poland Awards ceremony that was held in Warsaw earlier in November 2015.

The warehouse specialist won the award for Industrial/Warehouse Investment Transaction of the Year for its acquisition of a portfolio of logistics parks CA Immobilien Anlagen AG portfolio in February 2015, which included two parks in Poland. It was also awarded Industrial/ Warehouse Development of the Year for a Build-to-Suit project for ID Logistics at P3 Mszczonów.

The CIJ Poland Awards have been running for 14 years and are the longest running commercial real estate awards in Poland.

The Industrial/ Warehouse Investment Transaction of the Year Award recognised the significance of P3 purchase of the CA Immobilien portfolio, which comprised 467,000 m² of lettable space at P3 Błonie and P3 Piotrków in Poland as well as P3 Bucharest in Romania. The purchase, which included almost 165 hectares of land for development, doubled the number of P3 logistics parks in Poland and strengthened its position around the core Warsaw market.

The purchase also increased P3’s total warehouse portfolio to 2.9 million m2 (which is now over 3 million m²) and confirmed the company’s status as one of top five leading pan-European logistics warehouse providers.

P3 won its second award, Industrial/ Warehouse Development of the Year, for a 46,230 m2 Build-to-Suit (BTS) warehouse for logistics services provider ID Logistics (IDL) at the P3 Mszczonów park. The building was handed over to IDL in June 2015 on time and within budget. Working with IDL, P3 incorporated a host of innovations designed to reduce operating costs and enhance its environmental sustainability, all important features in P3’s next generation buildings.

The site was chosen by IDL for its strategic location around 50 km south west of Warsaw, with direct road links to the cities of central and western Poland such as Katowice, Łódź and Poznań - a market of some 3 million people ‑ as well as to Berlin and the rest of eastern Europe. IDL will use the building as a logistics node for one of its largest international retail clients.

Společnost P3, vlastník, developer a správce průmyslových nemovitostí s celoevropskou působností, zvítězila v soutěži „Best of Realty – Nejlepší z realit“ v kategorii „Skladové a průmyslové areály“. Během slavnostního vyhlášení 17. ročníku této v České republice nejprestižnější soutěže ve svém oboru převzala P3 ocenění za distribuční centrum postavené na míru společnosti VF Corporation.

Osmičlenná porota složená ze zkušených specialistů z oboru do soutěže nominovala celkem 37 projektů, které se utkaly v pěti základních kategoriích. Projekt společnosti P3 přitom ve své skupině porazil dalších šest průmyslových nemovitostí. Odborná porota ocenila P3 Logistic Parks za umožnění růstu a konsolidace logistických procesů společnosti VF Corporation vybudováním nového, efektivně navrženého distribučního centra, jež využívá ekologických a energeticky úsporných prvků.

Slavnostního galavečera, který se uskutečnil v pražském Kongresovém sále České národní banky, se účastnili čelní představitelé českého realitního trhu, architekti, developeři, osobnosti právnického, finančního a veřejného života. Za společnost P3 ocenění na místě spolu s týmem převzali Tomáš Kubín, vedoucí oddělení výstavby a Daniel Kubizňák, vedoucí oddělení pronájmů.

Nová hala společnosti VF Corporation se nachází v parku P3 Prague D8. Pro průmyslový areál, který v současné době nabízí ještě více než 14 000 m² ploch k pronájmu, je to v letošním roce již druhé ocenění. Před nedávnem získal „Cenu nájemců – nejlepší logistický park pro rok 2015“, která je udělována skupinou ATOZ LOGISTICS ve spolupráci s výzkumnou agenturou STEM/MARK na základě průzkumu spokojenosti uživatelů logistických a průmyslových areálů. Samotný projekt pro VF Corporation pak před časem obdržel certifikát BREEAM na úrovni „very good“.

Společnost VF Corporation, která vlastní prémiové lifestylové maloobchodní značky oblečení, jako jsou VANS, The North Face, Wrangler či Timberland, se do parku P3 Prague D8  nastěhovala v roce 2004 a od té doby je zde jedno z jejích hlavních center evropské distribuční sítě. Letos na jaře P3 předala firmě VF Corporation novou halu o rozloze téměř 40 000 m², která se zároveň stala největším projektem na míru realizovaným P3 v České republice a nyní za něj navíc získala toto prestižní ocenění. Smlouva na další budovu o velikosti 23 445 m², jejíž dokončení je naplánováno na duben 2016, pak byla uzavřena jen 8 měsíců poté. Po dokončení poslední fáze výstavby přesáhne celková plocha využívaná společností VF Corporation v parku P3 Prague D8  106 000 m².

At the ceremony where the results of the 17th edition of these prestigious Czech awards were announced, P3 received its award for a distribution centre near Prague constructed on a Build-To-Suit basis for the VF Corporation.

An eight-member jury consisting of experienced specialists from the field had nominated 37 projects that competed in five categories. P3's project beat six other industrial and warehouse properties in its category. The jury selected P3 for facilitating the growth and consolidation of the VF Corporation's logistics processes through the construction of a new high-efficiency distribution centre, which incorporates environment-friendly, energy-saving features.

Held at the Congress Hall at the Czech National Bank's building in Prague, the awards ceremony was attended by leading representatives of the Czech real estate industry including architects, developers, and prominent lawyers, financiers, and public officials. The award was received, on behalf of the P3 team, by P3’s Head of Construction in the Czech Republic Tomáš Kubín and Daniel Kubizňák, Head of Leasing.

"Our partnership with the VF Corporation has now lasted more than 10 years. During that time, the company has become the largest tenant at the P3 Prague D8 park, and it is a great honour to have received an award for a project delivered for this particular client. The prize is a reward for the many years of hard work undertaken by our experienced professionals and testimony to how P3's comprehensive knowledge of the business, needs, and preferences of our clients leads to the best possible results and, most importantly, to their complete satisfaction," says Tomáš Míček, P3's Country Head for the Czech Republic.

The new VF Corporation warehouse is located in the P3 Prague D8 park. The award is the second accolade that this park, which currently offers more than 14,000 m² of warehouse space for lease, has received this year. It has already received the "2015 Tenants' Award for the Best Logistics Park", which is bestowed by the ATOZ LOGISTICS GROUP in cooperation with the STEM/MARK public research firm based on a satisfaction survey conducted among users of logistics and industrial complexes. In addition, the VF Corporation project has recently been awarded a "Very Good" BREEAM environmental certificate.

The VF Corporation, which owns such premium lifestyle retail brands as VANS, The North Face, Wrangler, and Timberland, moved to the P3 Prague D8 Park in 2004. Since then, the firm has built one of its main European distribution centres. In the spring (2015), P3 delivered a new 40,000 m² warehouse for VF Corporation - the largest Build-To-Suit project undertaken by P3 in the Czech Republic to date. P3 has now received a prestigious award for the completion of this venture. A contract for another building, which will comprise 23,445 m² and is scheduled for completion in April 2016, was signed only eight months later. Once the last construction stage is completed, VF Corporation will occupy a total of 106,000 m² at P3 Prague D8 park.

P3, specialist European owner, developer and manager of logistics facilities, won the warehouse investor of the year award at EuropaProperty’s 5th annual CEE Investment and Green Building Awards at a ceremony held in Warsaw.

EuropaProperty’s CEE Investment Awards recognise and honour excellence in the CEE region’s investment sector. The awards are given to companies that have demonstrated the best overall investment performance and completed significant transactions that have produced consistent results and have a high likelihood of continuing to be profitable investments in the future.

The award was made for P3’s acquisition of a portfolio of three logistics parks ‑ two in Poland and one in Romania with a combined total of 467,000 m² of lettable space ‑ from CA Immobilien Anlagen AG in February 2015. It also included almost 165 ha of land for development. One of the most significant investment deals of the year, the purchase increased P3’s total warehouse portfolio to 2.9 million m² (it has since increase to over 3 million m²) and confirmed the company’s status as one of the leading pan-European logistics warehouse providers.

Ian Worboys, P3´s CEO, said: “It’s a real honour to receive this prestigious award, which recognises the work of the whole P3 team. The portfolio acquisition marked an important step forward in our expansion in CEE. The three parks in the portfolio (now all rebranded as P3 parks) are:

  • P3 Błonie - located c30 km west of Warsaw and comprising 177,000 m2 and 17 ha of land available for development.
  • P3 Piotrków ‑ in central Poland and comprising 75,000 m2 with scope for up to 431,256 m2 of new development.
  • P3 Bucharest ‑ close to the Romanian capital and comprising 215,000 m2 with 40ha of land for potential development.

P3 Prague D8 Wins Tenants´ Award for Best Logistics Park in Czech Republic

P3’s Prague D8 facility has won the 2015 Tenants' Award for the Best Logistics Park in the Czech Republic and received the prize during the traditional annual Logistics Business Mixer event, organised by ATOZ Logistics.

The Tenants' Award is given every year to the company that comes top in a survey that maps the satisfaction of users of logistics and industrial facilities. The event is organized by ATOZ Logistics in cooperation with the STEM/MARK research firm and the Cushman & Wakefield real estate consultancy, which provides expert oversight.

Tomáš Míček, P3's Country Head for the Czech Republic said: "We are pleased that we’ve received this particular award, which will be a challenge to live up to in the future. This positive feedback from our customers is for us the best appreciation that we can get for the excellent work done by our asset and property management teams, whom they are in daily contact with. Our customers’ confidence in P3 is warmly appreciated.”

The award-winning P3 Prague D8 logistic park is located near Exit 1 on Highway D8, which links the Czech Republic with the German cities of Dresden and Berlin. The logistics complex is easily accessible from downtown Prague by public transport. The facility presently houses six warehouses that offer more than 100,000 m2 of space. Tenants include DHL Express, In Time Spedice, LATECOERE Czech Republic, PMP PAL, Puma, and VF Corporation.

P3 Logistic Parks, the owner, developer, and manager of European logistics properties, won the top “CEE Investor of the Year” prize at the prestigious Central & Eastern European Real Estate Quality Awards (CEEQA) in Warsaw. The award followed the most active year for acquisitions and development in the company’s history.

The winners of the CEEQA Awards, which are open to nominations from 18 countries, are selected by a jury composed of respected and experienced specialists from leading companies in the field. The jury's decisions are supervised and audited by the global consultancy company Deloitte.

Ian Worboys, P3 CEO, said: “I’m honoured that P3 has received this award, which is a recognition of the company’s entire team as a group of exceptional logistics professionals who love the warehouse business. Thanks also to the strong support of our investors, TPG and Ivanhoé Cambridge, we have enjoyed a remarkable pace of expansion not only in CEE, but also in other markets, such as Italy, for example. P3 is one of Europe’s leading long term logistic warehouse owners, servicing clients through providing, or developing space according to their requirements, in a wide range of geographical locations.”

The gala ceremony in the Polish capital was attended by around 600 guests from the ranks of the owners and executives of regional and international companies from 40 countries.

Společnost P3, vlastník, developer a správce evropských logistických nemovitostí, byla na udílení prestižních cen Central & Eastern European Real Estate Quality Awards (CEEQA) ve Varšavě oceněna jako nejlepší investor roku 2014 ve střední a východní Evropě – „CEE Investor of the Year“. Toto ocenění odráží nejaktivnější rok z hlediska akvizic a rozvoje v dosavadní historii společnosti P3.

Vítěze cen CEEQA, na které se nominují společnosti z 18 zemí, vybírá porota složená z uznávaných a zkušených odborníků z předních společností v oboru. Rozhodnutí poroty podléhá dohledu a kontrole mezinárodní konzultantské společnosti Deloitte.

Ian Worboys, P3 CEO, říká: „Získání této ceny považuji za velikou čest. P3 Logistic Parks’ Managing Director for Central & Eastern Europe Peter Bečár was given a special award by Capital Magazine for coordinating what the publication judged was the best new entry by a company into the Romanian real estate. Cora Stolz, P3’s Country Head for Romania, accepted the award on his behalf at a gala ceremony in Bucharest on March 23rd.

P3 has acquired more than 1 million m² of assets in the CEE region during the past 12 months through purchases in the Czech Republic, Poland and Romania.

The P3 Bucharest park consists of 215,000 m² of space that is almost fully occupied, plus 40 ha. of land for build-to-suit development. It is a major centre for third-party logistics providers, due to its access to the city’s principal ring road and the A1 motorway plus the onsite freight handling facilities as part of the pan-European rail corridor. The close proximity to central Bucharest attracts e-commerce tenants, notably online retailer eMag, as well as multinationals such as Carrefour, Tibbett Logistics, Gebrüder Weiss and Interbrands.

P3 was honoured with an award for the best logistics market growth strategy in Romania by the country’s leading business newspaper, Ziarul Financiar, during the „ZF Transport & Logistics Summit 2015” conference organized by the newspaper in Bucharest on March 17th.

Romania was one of Europe’s fastest growing economies last year with GDP rising by 2.6% on the back of the expanding manufacturing and export sectors. Ziarul Financiar estimated that the distribution of goods in the transport sector contributed about € 7.0 billion to the economy in 2014.

The P3 Bucharest logistics park is located approximately 13 km west of the city centre, with direct access to the A1 motorway that is planned to connect the capital with the western part of Romania. The park is close to Bucharest’s ring road, providing easy access to all the city’s six districts and to Henri Coanda International Airport 22 km away, while also connecting up to the A2 highway. Construction of this park began in 2005 and it currently comprises eight fully-let warehouse buildings. The largest tenants in the park are Carrefour, Tibbett Logistics, Dante International (Emag.ro), Interbrands, Altex, OTZ Logistic, FM Logistic and Gebrüder Weiss. P3 currently has around 155,000 m2 of space for build-to-suit (BTS) opportunities at the park.

P3 has recently strengthened its team in Romania, that has been in place since 2010, with the appointment of Andrei Jerca as the Head of Asset Management. Earlier this year Serban Juverdeanu and Laurentiu Duica joined the Bucharest operations as respectively Head of Construction and Head of Leasing.

P3, the specialist owner, developer and manager of European logistics properties has won the 2014 "Best Industrial Warehouse Development" and “Industry Leadership” awards for the Slovak market by industry publication CEE Construction & Investment Journal (CIJ).

P3 has now won the CIJ Warehouse Development award on four separate occasions -- this time for its DC4 building on the company’sBratislavaindustrial park. At the same CIJ gala ceremony, Peter Jánoši, P3 Country Head forSlovakia, received the Industry Leadership Award, which is designated for outstanding performing individuals in the Slovak property market.

The criteria for the warehouse development award encompassed architectural design, the quality of construction -- including the attention given to sustainability -- and the commercial success of the project, as well as its accessibility by public transport.

DC4 is the most recent addition to the P3 Bratislava logistics park in Lozorno near the D2 motorway to Brno, about 15 km north of the Slovak capital in the vicinity of the Vienna/Budapest leg of the city's ring-road. This places the park close to the "golden triangle” of CEE logistics locations delineated byBratislava,Vienna, andGyőr.

The warehouse was completed in the summer of 2014 and has a total floor area of 14,675 m², most of which was pre-let. There is 6,392 m² still available to let.

The Industry Leadership Award is given to individuals who demonstrate exceptional managerial skills, not only within their own companies, but also in the broader Slovak property market in general.
