P3, the specialist European owner, developer and manager of logistics real estate, has started construction of a new Build-To-Suit distribution warehouse that will provide Damco with more than 4,500 m² of extra space. At the same time, P3 has agreed to renew Damco’s lease on its existing 13,143 m² and enter into a new lease on an additional 10,457 m² building. Agent on the deal was Jones Lang LaSalle.

Damco has been an occupier at Hradec Králové park since 2010. It uses its storage and distribution facilities at the park to serve clients from FMCG sector. As a result of the latest deals, Damco’s storage, distribution, and office facility at P3 Hradec Králové park will soon extend to more than 28,000 m².

Commenting on the expansion of operations in Hradec Králové, Bart Van De Vin, CEE Area Manager from Damco Czech Republic a.s. said "the location of P3 Hradec Králové as well as services provided by P3 fully meet our needs. We have decided to renew the lease, to enlarge the area we lease and to build additional warehouse space to be able to accommodate the growing needs of our key clients whose production facilities are located in the vicinity."

Tomáš Míček, P3's Country Head for the Czech Republic, added "the P3 Hradec Králové park was added to our portfolio last year, and we are very happy that Damco's expansion has now confirmed its excellent location. After the completion of Damco's new warehouse, which is scheduled for the end of this year, 96% of space in the park will have been leased out."

P3 Hradec Králové is located in Dobřenice near the city of Hradec Králové on Highway D11 that connects Prague (83 km to west) and Hradec Králové. The construction of the park, which currently comprises four buildings, began in 2008. Other tenants include Vetro-plus and Den Braven.
