"These two companies have chosen P3 Žilina for their expansion because of its proximity to local markets and excellent access to the entire Central European region," said Peter Jánoši, P3's Country Head for Slovakia. "Our strategy of constructing warehouses speculatively in this location has paid off. Both companies will move to building 1B, a new facility that was partly built on a speculative basis to meet the needs of tenants such as GEFCO and DB Schenker that are growing quickly as part of the dynamic development of the logistics sector in Slovakia" he added.

French logistics group GEFCO specialises in the industrial and automotive sectors. It began operations in Slovakia in 2004 and now has five warehouses in the country. The company has taken 1,720 m² of warehouse space and 204 m² offices at P3 Žilina, which will be used to service existing clients in the region.

International forwarding and integrated logistics solutions provider, DB Schenker has renewed its lease on an existing warehouse and taken a new lease on an additional 1,800 m² of warehouse space at P3 Žilina park. Schenker now occupies a total of 4,610 m² of storage and logistics space and 230 m² of offices in building 1. P3 completed the 6,100 m² building 1 last year (2014) and it is now fully let.

P3 Žilina is located in the north west of Slovakia, near the border with Poland and the Czech Republic. It is situated directly on the E50, one of the principal east-west motorways, 10 kilometers from a road that provides a link to the E75, Europe's main north-south route. Both the E50 and the E75 are undergoing ongoing modernization and improvement. The park’s position allows easy access to the whole of Slovakia and to most parts of Central Europe. P3 Žilina park opened in 2011. Its tenants include Albatros Logistics, a specializing in logistics services for electronics and automotive components, and the international logistics provider Geis Group.
