Construction of the extension has just started with completion scheduled for April 2016. It will provide VF, owner of premium lifestyle retail brands including VANS, The North Face, Wrangler and Timberland, with an additional 19,869 m² of warehousing and 3,576 m² of offices.

VF initially moved on to P3’s D8 in 2004 and has since made the park one of the main hubs in the company's European distribution network. The need for additional space comes in the wake of the corporation’s continued expansion in Europe.

Like the existing facility, the new building will be built to BREEAM “very good” certification standards, incorporating a number of innovative energy saving and environmentally sustainable features, whilst making it a pleasant environment for employees to work in.

P3’s D8 Prague logistic park is located close to Exit 1 of the D8 motorway that links the Czech Republic to Dresden and Berlin. The park also has direct connections to Prague’s public transport system. D8 is one of 14 warehouse facilities in the Czech Republic owned by P3, which is a specialist developer, investor and manager of logistics space across Europe.

Commenting on the extension, Tomáš Míček, Country Head for P3 in the Czech Republic said: “It’s great to see one of our customers grow so quickly. We are delighted that VF has decided to increase the size of its facility at D8 – it clearly demonstrates the advantages of the park’s well connected, central location as well as the benefits of the P3 approach to providing new quality space, tailored to a customer’s specific needs.”
