NIKA Chrudim operates across Europe and has a number of automotive sector customers in the Liberec area. It has been a tenant at P3 Liberec for three years, leasing space in warehouse H7, which it shared with its client Knorr-Bremse. As both firms have flourished, a decision was made earlier this year (2015) to expand the premises from which they operate. As part of the deal, P3 has built a new logistics warehouse for NIKA Chrudim. Constructed on a bespoke Build-To-Suit (BTS) basis, the new facility comprises a 7,000 m² of warehouse, with fully insulated docks to reduce heat loss, and 560 m² of offices. Knorr-Bremse will now use warehouse H7 exclusively.

"The decision by both companies to expand their operations at P3 Liberec is testimony to the park’s excellent location and its top-notch infrastructure, which allows firms to serve their customers in the Czech Republic and throughout the adjacent region" says Tomáš Míček, P3's Country Head for the Czech Republic, pointing out that cross-border business opportunities that make the Liberec area attractive to tenants.

NIKA Chrudim's CSO Martin Vaníček concurs: "Our priorities were a suitable building and good accessibility – both of which we found at P3 Liberec where we are already based. The new building will allow us to fulfill our business objectives and to provide customers with high-quality logistics services and fast transport of their goods. We are glad to have found in P3 a partner that was able to meet our expansion needs rapidly."

The new warehouse built for NIKA Chrudim is the latest addition to the P3 Liberec park as well as the first BTS facility that P3 has constructed in Northern Bohemia following the firm's extensive acquisition activity last autumn. P3 was advised by Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and the general contractor was the GOLDBECK.
