P3 and its construction partner Optima Consulting laid the cornerstone of building 2 at the P3 Žilina park at the end of last year. The completed Build-to-Suit project comprises 2,400 m² of warehousing and 400 m² of high-quality offices. The building features 27 small-size loading bays for light trucks and a conveyor belt system to improve the speed and efficiency of DHL's parcel distribution operations.

Peter Jánoši, Country Head of P3 in Slovakia, says, "This is another successful outcome resulting from our close relationship with DHL Group, which has been a client of P3’s for a long time. Two years ago, we built a special distribution hub for DHL Express attached to the Bratislava Airport complex to serve most of the CEE region."

The P3 Žilina park opened in 2011 and is located in Northwest Slovakia, near the country's border with Poland and the Czech Republic. The park enjoys easy access to the rest of Slovakia and most parts of Central Europe because it is situated beside the E50, one of Europe’s principal east-west motorways, and 10 kilometres from a feeder road to the E75, the continent’s main north-south highway. Both of these principal roads are undergoing modernisation.

The park’s current occupiers include DB Schenker, the transport and logistics division of Deutsche Bahn, and Albatros Logistics, a firm specializing in logistics services for electronics and automotive components.
