Prague, 17th December 2014P3 Logistic Parks, the specialist owner, developer and manager of European logistics properties, has agreed to lease a 46,230 m² built-to-suit warehouse at the P3 Mszczonów park near Warsaw, to existing customer and international contractor ID Logistics.

Work has started on the foundations for the new facility, which is scheduled for delivery at the start of the third quarter of 2015. It will act as a hub for ID Logistics to service one of its major international retail clients. ID Logistics chose the site because of its location about 50 km southwest of Warsaw and its direct access to the road network serving regional Polish cities such as Katowice, Łódź and Poznań, which also links up to Berlin, in Germany.

Peter Bečár, P3’s Managing Director for Central & Eastern Europe, said: “P3’s pan-European platform has doubled in size over the past 12 months and made us one of the five biggest operators in Europe. We can now help our clients to set up business in important markets, like Poland, by offering them build-to-suit facilities developed on our extensive land bank or space in our portfolio of standing assets, in key established locations.”

Stock market listed ID Logistics is a France-based contract logistics provider serving retailers, DIY, industrial, textile, cosmetics and e-commerce groups. It operates from 170 sites in 14 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America and its services include detailed order picking and other value-added solutions in supply chain management. The company established a Polish affiliate in 2008 and it has become one of the country’s most dynamic logistics contractors, with clients that include Auchan, Bricomarché, Carrefour, Ferrero and Lindt.

Andrzej Wroński, Country Head of P3 Poland, said: “ID Logistics’ choice reflects the park’s excellent location and our efforts to look after the business needs of a valued customer. P3 Mszczonów offers great potential as a multi-modal freight centre, while we have scope to develop more than 160,000 m² of additional warehousing there.”

Mszczonów is one of four logistics parks operated by P3 in Poland, including its recently announced acquisition agreement with CA Immobilien of sites in Blonie, 30 kms west of Warsaw, and Piotrkow, in the centre of the country. P3’s fourth park is at the rapidly growing logistics hub at Gadki, near Poznań.
