Better buildings mean better spaces for customers, the environment, and the communities where we do business. As of the year 2020, all P3’s developments must meet BREEAM Very Good standard, or equivalent certification, or better. BREEAM is an assessment undertaken by independent licensed assessors using scientifically-based sustainability metrics and indices which cover a range of environmental issues. Its categories evaluate energy and water use, health and wellbeing, pollution, transport, materials, waste, ecology and management processes. We are also in the process of certifying our entire portfolio of assets – almost 300 buildings across 11 European countries - to BREEAM Very Good standard, or equivalent, or better. This includes significant investment into new technologies, systems and materials. 

As a Top 5 European real estate developer and investor, P3 has an important role in providing direct and indirect economic benefit to the communities and stakeholders with whom we work. Acting responsibly is vital to the long-term success of our business and contributes towards the resilience of society at large. Every P3 development reviews the social impact of our activity and, where feasible, we collaborate with local communities, action groups and municipalities on areas of joint interest.  P3 supports the communities where it operates either through direct social investment, sponsorship or charitable endeavors, or indirectly through our employees’ via P3’s donation matching program.   

P3 further recognizes the need to operate its business to the highest standards of governance and business ethics. This governance approach extends to the way we measure ourselves in relation sustainable business practices. This is contained in a series of policies and procedures within P3’s Governance Charter, which guides how we address ESG needs of our diverse stakeholders. P3 aligns its efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
